Retail Operations Director - Moreton-in-Marsh

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Director will play a crucial role in leading and developing our Daylesford Organic farmshops across food and home retail, caf s and ad hoc events.

Charged with setting a vision for the Daylesford farmshops and its teams, the Operations Director will enjoy a high level of autonomy to adapt and grow the business, reaching more customers, with outstanding luxury service whilst also ensuring the continuation of a successful and profitable operation.

The Operations Director will be responsible for establishing and implementing processes that promote operational efficiencies, financial best practices, and a customer centric culture across all departments.

Critical to the success of the Operations Director will be their ability to engage and inspire our teams and unify them in the pursuit of excellence.


SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • An experienced leader, renowned for galvanising teams and bringing them together. You will lead from the front and be happy to "roll your sleeves up"
  • Naturally collaborative, you will enjoy working in partnership with other functional leaders to ensure the success of Daylesford Organic and maximise the opportunities that being part of a larger group present
  • Strategic in your thinking, you will appreciate the importance of setting and communicating a clear vision for Daylesford Organic, both for our customers and for the teams that work within this part of the business
  • Passionate about exceptional retail service and be experienced in its delivery, you will have a keen eye for detail and will instil similar care and standards within your team
  • An exceptional operator of multi site retail, you will set the bar for "best in class" service and standards and will put in place the systems and measures to ensure we are always delivering outstanding experiences for our customers
  • Highly commercial and comfortable with financial detail. You will be an experienced P&L leader ensuring our sites deliver excellence and profitability
  • A natural coach, mentor and communicator, you will be known for you leadership skills and will invest in the training, development and retention of your teams
  • Willing to work weekends and maintain flexibility in working hours, you will be a visible leader, keen to play a leading role in the experiences of our customers
  • Experienced in all facets of food retail and F&B hospitality
