Our Battery Team is one of the fastest-growing groups within JLR, driven by the increasing focus on BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) technologies in our product plans. We are looking for skilled Systems Integration Engineers to join our Battery Systems Advanced Concepts & Research Pillar. This team is crucial in implementing integration solutions to meet component functional targets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities 

As an Integration Project Engineer, you will: 

Support Integration Projects: Oversee the integration of advanced battery systems into vehicle platforms, ensuring alignment with JLR’s electrification and sustainability targets  Project Coordination: Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets from initiation to completion, ensuring projects meet their technical specifications and deliverables  Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, production, and marketing to ensure seamless integration and functionality of battery systems  Risk and Compliance Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with industry safety and quality standards  Efficiency and Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize project operations, enhancing productivity and reducing costs 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED 

Advanced Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, vehicle system integration, and project engineering principles  Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects within the stipulated time and budget constraints  Innovative Thinking: Capacity to drive innovation in battery integration, staying ahead of current technologies and trends in the automotive industry.  Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical information clearly and liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders  Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and swiftly resolve issues during project execution
