WHAT TO EXPECT

Come and join JLR as a Vehicle Integration Engineer, poised to play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of vehicles which meet our customers’ needs - we are Proud Creators of Modern Luxury.

The evolution of the JLR Electrical Modular Architecture (EMA) brings the opportunity for new applications and technologies requiring the development of the EMA architecture toolkit to support those applications.

This role within the (VAVE) team is critical to the engineering integration and delivery of the EMA architecture into future vehicle applications.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Leading cross-functional integration reviews to demonstrate evidence of goodness across architecture and vehicle systems, ensuring failure modes are resolved and lessons learned applied Work with Central Systems Integration (CSI) to ensure compatibility of architecture & vehicle systems to deliver customer features to quality Work with all Vehicle Attribute leads to ensure compatibility of attribute development activities to demonstrate the highest level of engineering verification integrity by the appropriate engineering milestones Lead the coordination and delivery of engineering activities to overcome incompatibilities Ensure the development of the architecture toolkit maintains compatibility with the architecture bandwidth and vehicle targets

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Technical knowledge and experience in complex product systems and interactions Proven ability to work with technical data and x-functional teams to resolve technical problems Experience working within an automotive engineering environment (or equivalent multiple discipline environment – Aerospace) Proven experience in demonstrating core foundation engineering principles to technical problems The ability to present data clearly and precisely to support decision-making
