An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Software Integration Engineer to join a prestigious team within the vehicle engineering division, based at Gaydon. This role offers a chance to be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge customer features and functions into innovative customer products, within a company renowned for its commitment to quality, innovation, and luxury.
What You Will Do:
Lead the integration of customer features into current and future vehicle programmes to sign-off level, aligning with programme gateways.
Facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration to execute all phases of feature, systems, and software delivery.
Ensure timely implementation of feature and system elements, identifying and resolving any cross-functional disconnects.
Drive the debugging of features and systems on vehicles, leading feature demonstrations.
Maintain the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within the JIRA toolset, coordinating inputs for the weekly consolidated Integration Report.
Present progress via bi-weekly Showcases to company leadership and senior stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
Thorough understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle and excellent technical project management skills.
Proven ability to resolve complex issues through a hands-on approach on vehicle.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratively influence delivery teams across the engineering function.
Experience in engineering product delivery using project management techniques, preferably under Agile methodology and JIRA.
A relevant degree or equivalent experience, alongside a full, clean driving licence.
