Position Overview
As a leader in the automotive industry, JLR is navigating a period of rapid growth and technological advancement. Our commitment to identifying and investing in cutting-edge technologies is crucial for our ongoing success.
We are currently expanding our Battery Team, which is focused on the integration of Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) technologies into our product offerings. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Integration Engineer/Scrum Master to become a vital part of our Battery Systems Advanced Concepts & Research team. This role will be key in developing integration solutions that align with our component functional objectives.
Key Responsibilities
In the role of Senior Integration Engineer/Scrum Master, your responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating Scrum Ceremonies: Organizing and leading all Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Supporting the Product Owner: Assisting in managing the product backlog, defining user stories, prioritizing tasks, and preparing for sprint planning.
- Removing Impediments: Identifying and resolving any barriers that may impede the team's progress, ensuring a seamless sprint cycle.
- Stakeholder Communication: Acting as a bridge between the team and external stakeholders, effectively aligning integration solutions with product requirements.
- Integration Roadmap Development: Contributing to the creation of integration strategies and ensuring functional safety and structural integrity within the BEV battery technology roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Agile Project Management: In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, with a proven history of enhancing team performance in technical or powertrain engineering settings.
- Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification, showcasing formal training and a strong understanding of Scrum roles, artifacts, and ceremonies.
- Project Facilitation Skills: Demonstrated experience in leading project planning sessions, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Adaptability and Problem Solving: Ability to swiftly adjust to changes in project scope and effectively manage team dynamics while addressing stakeholder needs.
- Desirable: Comprehensive understanding of BEV integration and ISO26262 Functional Safety standards, along with insights into the global supply chain and other OEM manufacturers to inform competitive strategies.
