An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and skilled Software Integration Engineer to join a prestigious team within the vehicle engineering division, based at Gaydon. What You Will Do:
  • Lead the integration of customer features into current and future vehicle programmes to sign-off level, aligning with programme gateways.
  • Facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration to execute all phases of feature, systems, and software delivery.
  • Ensure timely implementation of feature and system elements, identifying and resolving any cross-functional disconnects.
  • Drive the debugging of features and systems on vehicles, leading feature demonstrations.
  • Maintain the Mainline Integration Plan (MIP) within the JIRA toolset, coordinating inputs for the weekly consolidated Integration Report.
  • Present progress via bi-weekly Showcases to company leadership and senior stakeholders.
What You Will Bring:
  • Thorough understanding of the Systems Design Life Cycle and excellent technical project management skills.
  • Proven ability to resolve complex issues through a hands-on approach on vehicle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaboratively influence delivery teams across the engineering function.
  • Experience in engineering product delivery using project management techniques, preferably under Agile methodology and JIRA.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience, alongside a full, clean driving licence.
