In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of electrical systems within our high-performance vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with Electrical Architecture and Commodity Teams to implement both new and existing features.
- Drive the resolution of technical issues and support the implementation of mitigation strategies in partnership with module owners.
- Represent Electrical Engineering Integration in technical reviews and escalation discussions.
- Lead and support the 'Bring To Life' initiatives for major and complex domains, including lab vehicles and initial fleet models.
- Provide first-line support for prototype builds and production line operations.
- Manage smaller special projects, coordinating with key stakeholders to meet stringent deadlines.
- Foster positive and constructive relationships across all levels of the organization, being attuned to the needs of others to enhance collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a technical automotive electrical application role.
- Familiarity with automotive architectures and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Flexray, and Ethernet.
- Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept through to launch completion, with a focus on software deployment and integration.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics standards (UDS, ISO 14229, DOIP) and diagnostic tools.
- Experience in domains such as Powertrain, Chassis, ADAS, Body, or Infotainment.
- Ability to resolve complex issues across various functional commodities.
- Demonstrated capability in vehicle analysis using Vector tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, or similar).
- Experience with diagnostic commissioning and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in reading circuit diagrams and interpreting requirements documentation.
- Understanding of Functional Safety and Cyber Security principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective escalation and reporting.
