Damage Claims Manager

The UK Damage claims manager is responsible for all UK damage claims created via the central logging system at all UK branches. This will include claims raised against retail customers, corporate customers, and insurance claims. They will also be required to manage the claims logged via our roadside assistance teams. The goal of the UK damage manager is to ensure the team manage their work load correctly and effectively in order to reclaim damage costs where appliable and reduce losses. They will be required to report on reasons for being unable to reclaim damage costs, identify trends and find solutions to maximises our claim potential. This role also includes some complaint handling and debt recovery
- Overall performance of the team (3-5 FTE) by training & coaching to ensure daily SLAs and KPIs are achieved
- Working with various departments to investigate damage causes and vehicle fixes
- Manage customer complaints and debt recovery
- Be the conduit between Receivables & Customer to manage outstanding debt
- Full understanding of each customer contractual terms / KPI’s
- Identify key issue trend analysis and correct root cause
- Work with the UK and International teams to create and develop processes
- Manage the administration for new claims to ensure correct charging decisions and minimalize back logs
- Manage ULR case loads with external providers
- Analyse departmental data and reports to review and improve employee performance, and to enhance customer experience
Qualifications
Minimum 12 months experience in a Senior level role
Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Solution orientated and with the desire to problem solve
Team player with a positive attitude
Competency in various computer applications systems including Microsoft Office
