Job Description
The UK damage department plays a crucial role in managing all vehicle damage within Sixt's UK operations. As a Damage Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling and overseeing all damage claims submitted by Retail customers in the UK.
This involves meticulously reviewing each claim, obtaining accurate estimates from relevant sources, and issuing invoices to customers for any incurred damages. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for addressing any disputes or inquiries that may arise regarding damage claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews of new UK damage claims submitted by Retail customers.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints related to vehicle damage.
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently for all approved damage claims.
- Exercise sound judgment to resolve cases fairly and in the best interests of Sixt UK.
- Provide support with various ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in administration and case handling within a relevant industry.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in numerical calculations and data analysis.
