The role of Field Claims Adjuster at Adjusting Appointments Limited is a home-based position that involves visiting customers who have suffered losses to progress claims towards an amicable settlement.

  • As a Field Claims Adjuster, you will handle a mix of claims through the client's Direct and Broker channel for both High Net Worth and Commercial customers for both buildings and contents losses.
  • This role will predominantly cover the Northern Home Counties, but a flexible approach to travel is required given the size of the team.
  • The expectation is that the successful candidate will require one administrative day per week.
  • The Field Claims team supports the Property Claims function by visiting customers who have notified claims to inspect damage, assess policy coverage, and agree claim settlement in lieu of an external Loss Adjuster.
  • The team's primary target is to maximise the number of new claim instructions they go out on to meet their objectives of expediting claim settlement.

About you:

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous loss adjusting experience and ideally have handled HNW losses.
  • You must be a well-organised individual with excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
  • Progression towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, but not essential.
