Business Development Manager (Enviornmental), Scotland/East Kilbride Region

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Environment and Safety Division. SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive range of environmental monitoring and consultancy services to help companies fulfil their legal obligations and to comply with environmental regulations. Our expert field teams provide national coverage and tailored services including site investigation, sampling and analysis, monitoring, interpretation and consultancy. Our qualified and highly talented field consultants provide environmental analysis, environmental monitoring and consultancy services to assist clients in complying with legislation.

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join an enthusiastic team delivering Environmental Consultancy and Compliance services to a wide range of clients across the UK. With a particular interest within the Construction Industry to deliver new, profitable contracts as well as relationship building with existing customers. Focusing mainly on:

  • Contaminated land
  • Waste management
  • Environmental Monitoring
  • Environmental planning and geotechnical consultancy services

Sales experience relevant Environmental Consultancy and ideally a degree of technical background within this sector.

  • A sound knowledge of the environmental sector services
  • A proven track record of generating revenue through new sales prospecting and client development within the security systems sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
