Requirements
A bit about the role....
We are looking for a Junior Data Reporting Administrator with strong experience and understanding in Excel, databases, and the mapping of data to generate regular, automated and ad hoc reports. A core focus on the design of the reports is imperative to ensure they are user-friendly and summarised in easy-to-understand formats. This opportunity is perfect for someone passionate about data and numbers, eager to kickstart their career. It's also ideal for those keen to expand their skills and knowledge in a dynamic reporting role.
Some of the key responsibilities
- Collating data from our related databases to create new and ad hoc reports to provide accessibly and automation of our reported data.
- Weekly - monitoring sales performance in 4+ regions every week.
- Monthly - compiling more detailed analytical reports based on weekly reports to present in monthly meetings.
- Quarterly - compiling even more detailed analytical reports, month on month analyses.
- Yearly - using all historical data to provide overviews of performance regionally, globally and against previous years.
- Creating dashboards and focusing on the design of the reports to ensure user-friendly presentation of the data.
- Alongside the other members of the Data & Reporting team, ensuring best practices in data management are adhered to and hi-lighting any areas of concern with the integrity of the data.
REQUIREMENTS
- Highly proficient in Excel (Intermediate/Advanced User.)
- Highly proficient in MS office.
- Trouble-shooting incorrect data entry to ensure reports are as accurate as possible is an advantage.
- Excellent skills in using reporting tool kits.
- Excellent at interpreting numerical data and presenting it in user-friendly ways, including dashboards.
- A good understanding of database structure and linking interfaces.
- Previous experience of BI solutions including Phocas, PowerPivot/Power BI to design and create dashboards, KPIs and reports would be extremely advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and visualisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
