SEMH Teacher – Dartington, Devon (Permanent)
A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking an experienced, passionate SEMH teacher to join the permanent staff team at their Dartington site, starting January 2025 (or sooner if possible). This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dedicated team committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with SEMH and SEN needs
- Provide personalised support to foster students' academic and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals to meet students’ individual needs
- Create a safe, nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEMH/SEN students, ideally in a specialist setting
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for inclusive education
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
