    SEMH Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced SEMH teacher to join our dedicated staff team at our Dartington site. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with SEMH and SEN needs, providing personalized support to foster academic and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals to meet students’ individual needs, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Utilize strong behaviour management strategies to support students’ well-being and success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with SEMH/SEN students, ideally in a specialist setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and patience, resilience, and a passion for inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
