Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to fill this permanent role at their Totnes site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Inclusive Lessons: Tailor engaging lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages personal and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including support staff and external agencies.
  • Monitor Progress: Assess student progress, providing feedback and support.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH strategies and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
