Job Advert: Permanent SEN Teacher Wanted

A highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team in Totnes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive and nurturing environment, making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

The position is available from January 2025 or sooner, and the successful candidate will become an integral part of a committed staff community focused on achieving the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEMH and/or SEN needs
  • Strong understanding of the individual learning requirements of students
  • Ability to create and implement engaging, tailored lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Relevant training in SEN or additional educational needs is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
