We at Inspire Middlesex College are committed to providing high-quality education and training to aspiring pharmacy apprentices. As a Pharmacy Tutor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring apprentices through their academic journey, helping them develop the necessary skills to excel in the pharmaceutical field.

Pharmacy Tutor Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in college & online tutoring sessions with pharmacy apprentices, focusing on their individual learning needs and goals.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating relevant pharmaceutical topics, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Provide guidance and support in areas such as medication dispensing, pharmaceutical calculations, drug interactions, and medication therapy management.
  • Evaluate apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure the delivery of accurate and relevant information.

Pharmacy Tutor Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist, registered with the GPhC.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for mentoring and helping students succeed in their educational pursuits.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred but not required.
