The Business Development Manager for London and South West Region will introduce new deposit relationships to Close Brothers Savings and will manage a portfolio of existing customers.

The BDM will promote the services of Close Brothers Savings in the specified region. Networking with professional introducers and counterparts in other units of Close Brothers Group is a necessary part of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Close Brothers and its deposit products
  • Take ownership of performance and manage time efficiently to maintain levels in line with personal and business objectives
  • Work with internal teams to develop business opportunities
  • Adhere to the core values outlined under the Savings Engagement initiative by  demonstrating key behaviours

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Experience in Financial Services to businesses including Small-to-Medium Enterprises.
  • Proven track record in business development and relationship management.
  • Ability to build rapport easily across all sectors of the business community.
  • Display self-motivation, enthusiasm and positive outlook.
  • Efficiency in diary and time-management.
  • Ability to work on own initiative from office and home-based locations.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong influencing capabilities both on the telephone and in meetings.
  • Consultative approach to converting prospects.
