- The Head of Savings brings expertise and specialism to ensure that we develop a product proposition that serves our customer needs and wants in a way that is innovative and sustainable.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and ensure delivery of effective business plans and strategies to ensure targeted revenue and profit growth within the Savings product line.
- Meet the P&L for Savings by delivering on the respective financial targets and P&L figures; driving pricing strategies, cost management and forecasting revenue from acquisition and existing customer activity.
- Understand and model the impacts of business quality on impairments, working closely with Credit Risk and Finance to ensure performance to plan.
- Support the development of the Savings product strategic direction and the overarching proposition to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
- Lead and execute on savings pricing strategies and portfolio optimisation to produce customer value for shareholder return.
- Ensure that governance and oversight are effective and key performance metrics and scorecard targets are met and communicated to Board committees and other relevant audiences. Ensure good customer outcomes because of fair and effective business operations and regulatory adherence.

**Skills & Experience required**:

- Experience in a Commercial or Head of Function level role as you will be required to manage all aspects of Commercial Development and P & L for the Savings product. You will be required to formulate the Savings strategy and grow a successful team. The role requires sound legal and regulatory understanding of the Financial Services industry and experience of balancing commercial and regulatory obligations.
- Experience of defining and leading strategic change programmes, with the ability to plan and organise work effectively and prioritise activity. You will balance long term strategic thinking and day to day operational activity, reacting quickly to fast moving and demanding business situations.
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Excellent communication (written and oral), leadership, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills, particularly at the Executive level.
- Sound judgement and ability to operate independently and objectively.
- Strong people management skills and gravitas to build external relationships, achieved in a remote, matrix environment while working collaboratively across functions.
- Understanding of corporate governance frameworks and the requirements of an FCA/PRA regulated business.
- Experience in successfully developing and managing consumer product teams.
- Deep understanding of Savings and track record to innovate with the consumer product while managing complex product development cycles and multi distribution platforms.
- Track record of customer obsession and innovation.
- Experience in end-to-end ownership of a product and P&L.
