About the role

We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individual to join our team in the fragrance and beauty industry. The successful candidate will deliver a captivating, branded customer experience and drive consistent sales growth that positively represents our luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Service Commitments

  • Achieve sales by adhering to Sales and Training guidelines.
  • Become an expert in fragrance knowledge.
  • Set daily goals and review throughout the day.
  • Engage customers with 'new' launches, promotions, and key fragrances.
  • Approach customers with an enthusiastic and positive manner.
  • Listen and identify customer needs.
  • Maximise ‘hook backs’ to encourage customers to return.

Business Awareness and Administration

  • Stay fully aware of individual and account performance against targets.
  • Arrange tailored events and activities to ensure the business plan is delivered.
  • Complete all paperwork and administration required by Initio and the Store accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and manage stock control systems, including testers and samples.
  • Stay aware of competitor activity.
  • Identify opportunities for additional temporary/ad hoc space or sites to drive sales during key trading periods or launches.

Visual Merchandising

  • Ensure all displays are in accordance with Company Visual Merchandising guidelines and planograms.
  • Communicate any VM opportunities- additional space or sites to your Country Manager.
  • Ensure the Fragrance portfolio is fully stocked and that all products are stored by brand to maximise our sales in-store.

Communication

  • Ensure awareness of current and new business initiatives and to provide feedback to the Country Manager.
  • Provide regular feedback to your Sales & Training Manager, on issues effecting business performance.
  • Ensure that you have briefed store staff on our events and marketing calendar to gain engagement with our brands.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all store-based and colleagues


Specific Skills:

  • Demonstrate a solid knowledge of the luxury fragrance industry.
  • An understanding of the target market.
  • Excellent sales skills.
  • Demonstrate customer loyalty and new customer acquisition.
  • Ability to organize and execute in-store events.
  • Flexible – able to adapt

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience within the fragrance/beauty sector.
  • Luxury retail experience essential.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment and delivering on expectations numerate, able to interpret sales information and recognise trends
