Looking for a New Business Development Director with a proven track record to join as a member of the sales team


In this newly created role, the successful candidate will work for the head of Enterprise Sales in EMEA and assist with driving and executing a sales plan in support of clients’ enterprise technology needs.


SS&C’s Managed IT Services offer clients the opportunity to outsource their IT Infrastructure, Applications and Support Services.


The new Business Development Director will be tasked with identifying and winning Managed IT services mandates. These mandates include, but are not limited to, selling:


  • Strategic IT Consulting and Engineering;
  • Cyber Security Services;
  • Desktop and Client Campus Support;
  • Infrastructure Support and Maintenance and;
  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.


The preferred candidate must have experience in selling similar services and have a proven sales, track record of building a significant pipeline of new business, working alongside dedicated subject matter experts and support teams. Additionally, the candidate will be required to work with key influencers, including leading consultants across the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential clients with a focus on profitable new revenue generation.
  • Identify and win new business mainly in EMEA (or other assigned region(s) as required).
  • Build a network and pipeline to position the firm’s IT Managed Services offering
  • Take ownership of the sales process and lead commercial negotiations in line with internally agreed parameters
  • Help build the firm’s brand and increase brand awareness to generate quality leads
  • Attendance and participation at industry events
  • Develop and manage the intermediary and third-party services provider network
  • Participate in thought leadership initiatives by writing topical articles pertinent to the industry

  • Proven track record generating new revenue in the arena of IT Managed Services


Competencies

  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a quick learner and will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with key influencers in the industry
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver strong sales results
