The Role: Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role focuses on driving sales growth for Uniglove-branded products by working in partnership with both Independent and National distributors within the designated territory. Key responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with end users through targeted product training, educational initiatives, and conducting hand and arm protection surveys.

Our product line includes a diverse selection of disposable gloves, including a sustainable range, as well as industrial gloves designed for various types of protection including mechanical, chemical, thermal, and electrical. This range also features our award-winning RPET sustainable gloves. Additionally, we offer skincare solutions such as barrier creams and foams to provide comprehensive protection. We cater to diverse market sectors including industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, medical, automotive aftermarket, food service and manufacturing, and general hygiene, working with both national and regional independent distribution partners.


Day to Day Activity

  • Develop and implement local sales activities to drive growth, profitability and market share in the area. Focus on penetrating key end user and distributor partner accounts to develop sales and brand loyalty.
  • Spend significant time on the road, ideally 4 days per week, driving end user conversions to the Unigloves brand and back selling via chosen distribution partners. Provide comprehensive product training for distributors and accompany their sales teams on joint visits as needed.
  • Manage the area sales budget effectively, ensuring alignment with company strategy and the sales targets set. Full accountability for achieving and exceeding agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis of the area to identify opportunities, threats, and trends. Adjust local strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and feedback market intelligence via the Regional Manager.


Sales Reporting and Analysis

  • Fully utilize our CRM system (HubSpot) to manage customer communications, manage the sales pipeline, manage the area sales activity, and administer customer support tickets. Use this information effectively to create data-driven Insights and inform decision making.


Relevant Experience, Skills & Behaviours

  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager for a PPE manufacturer or distributor
  • Be a committed team player who prioritizes the interests of the team and the business.
  • Display excellent digital literacy and proficiency utilising digital sales and marketing tools, particularly CRM systems.
  • Be a strategic thinker with strong planning and budget management skills.
