Olympus are recruiting for a Territory Manager within the Endotherapy portfolio to cover the Scotland region.


What is the purpose of this position?


The role involves demonstrating Endotherapy consumables & capital products to clinical staff within Endoscopy departments, carrying out meetings with business and procurement managers with a view to growing market share for their portfolio as well as providing advanced product training and ongoing after sales support in field.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Management

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, prospects, and key accounts for targeted marketing and sales efforts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals to showcase the features and benefits of our endotherpy products.
  • Collaborate with internal sales support, marketing, and technical teams to address customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Market Analysis intelligence and trends
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to Endotherapy equipment and procedures in designated territory.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement, new product development, and market expansion.
  • Using CRM provide regular reports and sales activity updates, market trends, and customer feedback to management and relevant stakeholders.


Training and Education

  • Stay current on product knowledge, clinical applications, and industry developments related to Endotherapy equipment through ongoing training and professional development activities.
  • Provide training and educational resources to customers and key stakeholders on product features, usage guidelines, and best practices in Endoscopy procedures


Market Analysis intelligence and trends

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to Endotherapy equipment and procedures in designated territory.
  • Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement, new product development, and market expansion.
  • Using CRM provide regular reports and sales activity updates, market trends, and customer feedback to management and relevant stakeholders.



What are the key responsibilities of this position?


  • Degree level qualification - desirable
  • Medical background preferred but not essential
  • • Experience within a field sales environment, ideally within the healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated with a strong will to succeed
  • Highly skilled in organising and planning multiple demands & priorities
  • Demonstrates high levels of integrity in dealings with external & internal customers
  • Clear and concise written and spoken communication skills
  • Highly motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Focussed personal continuous improvement & development
