Senior Customer Success Manager

My client is a well-established technology company providing an AI and data solution to clients in the Insurance sector. They automate processes such as submission ingestion, compliance checks, ESG monitoring, and portfolio management, allowing underwriters to focus on value-added activities. This results in increased operational efficiency and faster business acquisition.
They are hiring a Senior Customer Success Manager who will be a strategic partner to their customers, ensuring customers maximise the value of the solutions and achieve their business objectives. This role is revenue-focused, with a strong emphasis on driving incremental ARR through upsell and cross-sell opportunities. You will work closely with customers (who are Insurers, so a strong understanding of the sector is required) to identify value-add solutions, strengthen relationships, and ensure long-term partnership success.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Revenue Focus: Strong track record of identifying and executing opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and ARR growth.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Ability to understand customer needs and align solutions to drive business value.
- Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing success plans that align with both customer objectives and revenue targets.
- Data-Driven Approach: Skilled at leveraging data to demonstrate ROI and identify expansion opportunities.
- Influence and Negotiation: Ability to manage expectations, influence stakeholders, and close revenue-generating opportunities.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance sector and its challenges
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in customer success, account management, or a related role within a B2B SaaS or insurtech environment
- Proven track record of managing enterprise-level accounts and driving measurable revenue growth
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple revenue-focused initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives
Salary on offer is £70-80k with some flexibility possible for outstanding candidates. In addition, there is up to 20% commission, a discretionary bonus and a good benefits package.
This role offers hybrid working with at least 2 days in the London office.
