Purpose
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in expanding their business footprint within the asset management and hedge fund sectors. Your mission will be to uncover new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders, and close deals to ultimately achieve and exceed sales targets. You will stay ahead of market trends and competitor actions, providing senior management with regular, insightful sales reports and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the asset management and hedge fund segments.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and grow relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
- Sales Leadership: Lead negotiations, close deals, and consistently achieve or surpass sales targets.
- Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts
- Sales Growth: Drive sales growth and expand market presence with strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of sales experience in the financial technology industry serving the buy-side.
- In-depth understanding of the financial technology sector and a strong network of industry contacts.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth.
- Comprehensive understanding of operational workflows, data integration, and automation within financial services.
- Exceptional communicator with proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
