We are looking for a Senior National Account Manager or a National Account manager to focus on Smart Home products for, a well known consumer electronics brand . Experience selling directly to retailers and via distribution is essential. You must have a deep understanding of the CE retail landscape ideally around Smart Home. You should have experience selling in particular to Currys, Argos, John Lewis, and potentially the DIY channel , demonstrating that you have the key contacts in those retailers and proven track record in driving significant growth in your field and be able to demonstrate how you achieved this. We are ideally looking for a senior NAM but will consider someone earlier in their career with the right knowledge.


Our ideal is that the candidate will be within a reasonable commute of the clients office in North London/Home Counties

  • Communicate with industry leading customers
  • Formulate and agree product and promotional business plans for all customers’ aligned to internal targets and KPIs
  • Develop effective customer contacts with all relevant functions - commercial, buying, supply chain, store support and operations.
  • Negotiate range pricing and promotional opportunities within each account - Seeking internal sign off, so as to meet both Net Sales and Operational Profit targets .
  • Monitor the customer through accurate forecasting, sales in and sales out information, budgetary management .
  • Work with the Ops team to deliver against forecast , keeping Aged stock to a minimum.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records and report for all aspects of business to the Sales Leader and other relevant Departments.
  • Develop good working relationships with all internal depts
  • Collect market information, including but not limited to, market data, industry trend, product standard and competitor’s analysis.
  • Negotiate supply agreements with new and existing customers.
  • Be able to travel regularly to meet new customers, or assist existing customers.
  • Attend & participate in trade shows as and when requested by the business.
