National Sales Director

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team at Conferences and Events. As a key member of our Commercial & Marketing - Guest Experience department, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across our three Resorts and leading the sales strategy for conferences, meetings, and events.
Your primary focus will be on developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of events, achieving same year and advanced sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy to increase revenue for conference and event services across the three resorts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage contracts, invoicing, and other administrative tasks with finance and legal teams.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet revenue goals.
- Prepare regular reports on sales activity, client feedback, and market trends to share with the wider team.
Requirements:
We are looking for a National Sales Manager with previous experience in the events, hospitality, or similar industry. You should enjoy a fast-paced environment and have a strong background in meeting and exceeding sales targets, while also being able to keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging activities within the conference and events industry.
This role requires regular travel, including to our Hemel Head Office, hosting Resort tours, visiting agency partners, attending industry events, and visiting clients both nationally and locally.
