Job Profile:

As the Lewden National Field Sales Manager you will be responsible for building relationships with targeted Electrical Wholesalers, nurturing and leveraging ones you may already have.


Responsibilities:

Develop & maintain an effective stockist / distributor network and work with distributor partners to increase stock purchasing and help create a “push/pull” business stream.

Develop & maintain strong relations with Electrical Wholesalers

Plan regular customer visits to support targeted key Electrical Wholesale Accounts with a targeted activity.

Establish customers need/wants and leverage new opportunities.

Develop business plans for targeted groups.

Arrange, organise and support trade events i.e. Trade Day, Customer Events, Exhibitions and Trade Shows

Track, measure and evaluate sales metrics and trends.

Track, measure and evaluate customer satisfaction metrics and trends.

Suggest innovative ways of increasing customer penetration.

Generate tools and ideas for improving national account customers' experience selling our product and services.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Specification and Marketing teams.

Keep abreast of industry, market trend and best practices.

All of the above must be done whilst recording all sales / project activity using the company’s CRM system.


The person:

Applications are invited for experienced sales professionals who will be responsible for developing sales of the company’s products throughout their designated targeted accounts and role responsibilities; you will need a history of successful field sales preferably within in the electrical marketplace selling via Electrical Wholesalers. You will be expected to account manage existing customers to maximise their potential and also identify and develop additional new customers within your remit which will include Independent & National Wholesaler partners and in turn support Electrical Wholesaler partners with a "push/ pull" via contractors to achieve area sales targets. A technical background would be desirable although not essential. Full Technical training will be given by our technical department with follow ups if required.

You’ll be required to identify growth opportunities to increase sales within the role remit. You will have good rapport building skills, great communication skills (verbal and written), the drive to achieve company budgets and targets, and enjoy working under pressure, with the hunger and desire to want to make a real tangible difference and stand out from the crowd.

Ideally Based in Middle England, but not essential as it is more important to receive applications from the right candidates.
