ROLE: Area Sales Manager

LOCATION: Midlands & South Wales

REMUNERATION: £47-60K experience dependant, 15% bonus, generous car allowance/gov mileage allowance, family healthcare, 4 x death in service, amazing pension paying 2% above your contribution up to 10% company contribution, employee incentives and access to discount platforms.

As the Area Sales Manager you will identify/create opportunities for product solutions by developing strong relationships to end-user customers and with material fabricators. Your role involves offering unrivalled technical and commercial support with a strong emphasis and focus paid to new projects.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Follow sales growth strategy and sales priorities being linked with orders and profitability while guiding and leading sales negotiations.
  • Create strong and valuable relationships to final customers (e.g. retailers, hotels, petrol stations) and to fabricators (e.g. printers, shop fitters) by providing technical and commercial support.
  • Create brand value by gaining successful specifications with final customers, designers and architects.
  • Train and support distributors through successful project management and by conducting product presentations.
  • Provide data and updates on planned trips, activities and ensure professional reporting through detailed and consistent use of the CRM system.
  • Inform about important actions of our competitors and distributors, provide market information and statistics where necessary.
  • Provide input for promotional activities and act as a member of our exhibition teams in Europe.


SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of the UK display industry is desirable however working with a branded internal decorative product solution is also very interesting.
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Established, target driven sales background is essential.
  • Dynamic and outgoing with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly professional with strong commercial acumen and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Autonomous, well-disciplined and self-motivated with good organisation and planning skills.
  • A strategic thinker with strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a thorough, results orientated approach.
