Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving growth within the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with the ability to effectively manage client interactions and track progress.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans and outreach campaigns to expand SHG's visibility to achieve business growth targets.
- Identify potential clients and engage them through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, primarily sales management and consultants, to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients showcasing our products and services.
- Monitor sales performance metrics using our custom CRM template and to track progress against targets.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, Economics, or related field OR demonstrated experience in sales, business development, fundraising, or client management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages (e.g: French, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Mandarin, or regional languages) are highly valued.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
