Business Development Manager
We're looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth and strengthen ESP Utilities' position in the multi-utility sector. This role is all about building trusted relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering value to both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver volume and value targets as a key member of the Commercial team.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs, present ESP Utilities' value proposition, and qualify opportunities.
- Prioritize leads and opportunities to maximize efficiency and impact.
- Research, identify, and develop new business opportunities within the sector.
- Negotiate commercial contracts in line with company policies and guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the multi-utility sector (gas, electricity, water).
- Strong technical and commercial acumen, ideally with an existing network aligned to our D2D strategy.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently while thriving in a team environment.
- Exceptional time management and planning skills.
- Confident communicator with persuasive presentation abilities and a tenacious approach to achieving results.
