Company Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology consultancy focused on delivering Salesforce-driven transformation to clients within the financial services and insurance sectors. This consultancy is at the forefront of digital innovation, offering tailored solutions to address complex business challenges. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Salesforce Presales Consultant with a background in solution architecture or solution design, who can work closely with clients to shape value-driven Salesforce solutions.
Role Overview
As the Salesforce Presales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in the consultancy’s engagement with clients, identifying business challenges, and designing Salesforce solutions that directly address the unique demands of the financial services and insurance markets. You will lead discovery conversations, outline solution architectures, and collaborate with both the consultancy’s sales and delivery teams to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to uncover business objectives, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Design and present customised Salesforce solutions, with a focus on Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) Insurance Cloud, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Develop solution proposals, including high-level architecture, technical roadmaps, and actionable recommendations.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process, facilitating seamless transitions to delivery teams.
- Identify and propose Salesforce-based enhancements to client systems, demonstrating the consultancy’s value in delivering innovative, scalable solutions.
- Keep current with Salesforce advancements, enabling the delivery of best-fit solutions that meet client goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive experience in presales, solution architecture, or solution design within a insurance business or similar environment, with focus on financial services and insurance.
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Financial Services Cloud and Vlocity Insurance Cloud.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused solutions.
- Strong client-facing expertise, with experience leading discovery workshops and presenting solutions.
- Skilled in creating solution architectures, high-level diagrams, and roadmaps.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working with cross-functional consultancy teams.

- Salesforce Certified Solution Architect
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
- Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) Certifications (e.g., Platform Developer, CPQ)
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or other advanced certifications
- TOGAF Architecture Certifications
