Pre-Sales Cloud Consultant
Syntura is a leading Microsoft Partner organization focused on delivering innovative and scalable solutions to businesses across various industries. We leverage the power of Microsoft technologies—such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and more—to help our clients transform their operations, enhance productivity, and drive business growth.
As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Presales Consultant who will be pivotal in driving our sales process by providing in-depth technical expertise, delivering tailored presentations and demonstrations, and supporting our sales teams in winning new business.
Role Overview
As a Presales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing presales technical support to the sales team, engaging with prospective clients to understand their business and technical requirements, and positioning Microsoft solutions to address their challenges. You will work closely with the account managers, product teams, and senior leadership to ensure that our solutions are presented effectively and meet the client’s needs.
This role requires a blend of strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products, excellent communication skills, and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Needs Analysis:
- Collaborate with sales teams and clients to gather and analyze business requirements and technical needs.
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical workshops, and business assessments to understand client pain points and propose appropriate Microsoft solutions.
Solution Design & Presentation:
- Prepare tailored solution proposals and presentations based on client needs, showcasing how Microsoft technologies (Azure, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Power Platform) can meet their business objectives.
- Lead technical product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create compelling and customized proposals and quotes that align with client business requirements.
Support Sales Teams:
- Work closely with Account Managers and Sales Directors to develop and implement sales strategies for new business acquisition and expansion opportunities.
- Assist in responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders, ensuring accurate technical and commercial responses.
- Provide technical assistance during sales meetings, addressing any product-related questions, concerns, or objections.
Technical Expertise & Thought Leadership:
- Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft technologies and industry trends to provide thought leadership to both clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the delivery and product teams to ensure the smooth transition from presales to implementation.
- Assist in the creation of demo environments, proofs of concept (PoCs), and other presales resources to support customer engagement.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the presales process.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients post-sale, ensuring the proposed solution meets their needs.
Sales Enablement & Training:
- Provide training to internal sales teams and partners on Microsoft product offerings and how to effectively position them to clients.
- Assist in developing and refining sales collateral, case studies, and presentations to strengthen the sales team’s ability to close deals.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong experience and technical proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Modern Workplace, Cyber Security, Power Platform, and other relevant Microsoft products.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and enterprise solutions architecture.
- Experience with solution selling, including working with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver solutions for customers.
Experience:
- 3+ years of presales, technical consulting, or solution architect experience, ideally in a Microsoft Partner or IT consultancy environment.
- Experience working in or supporting a sales team and collaborating with customers in complex sales cycles.
- Knowledge of industry verticals (e.g., finance, retail, healthcare) is a plus.
