Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our Human Resources Team in Scarborough. As an HR Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering a professional HR service, supporting our Management and Partnership team with day-to-day tasks, and contributing to the success of our organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process, including collating application forms, sending out interview offers, and preparing for interviews.
  • Participate in the interview process, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practice.
  • Ensure pre-employment checks are completed for all prospective employees, including Occupational Health, Disclosure Barring Service clearance, and professional registration.
  • Assist with the employee life cycle, including responding to flexible working requests and assisting with employee departures.
  • Provide cover for the HR Manager, including providing a reception service and answering telephone enquiries.
  • Be a point of contact for managers, team leaders, employees, and external individuals, providing HR advice and support.
  • Undertake HR health and safety risk assessments and maintain electronic HR records.
  • Assist with payroll amendments and produce workforce information reports as required.

Requirements

  • A good level of formal education, including GCSE Maths and English at level 4-9 (C-A*).
  • Experience working with IT and Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and databases.
  • Some relevant experience in an office environment and an understanding of strict confidentiality.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working within a Human Resources administration role.
  • A Business Administration or Customer Service qualification.
