We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Impression Recruitment Limited. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in providing guidance and support to our client's management team and staff, encompassing a full range of HR work to support and uphold the organisation's values, aims, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Investigations and Disciplinary Support: Provide support to Managers during investigations and disciplinaries by taking notes and providing routine advice on company policies and procedures.
- Payroll Administration: Collate, prepare, and submit payroll data to the Finance team.
- HR Policy Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of HR-related policies and procedures.
- New Starter Inductions: Liaise with the training team to arrange inductions for new starters.
- Absence Management: Handle all associated paperwork and administration regarding company absence policies.
- HR Projects: Take an active involvement in HR activity projects, including arranging meetings, producing letters, collating, and circulating information.
- Staff Records: Ensure staff records are up-to-date, ensuring that GDPR is upheld at all times.
- Employee Engagement: Engage in marketing activities, including employee engagement and attending events to promote the company.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
- Certifications: CIPD Level 3/5 (preferred but not essential).
- Knowledge: Knowledge of employment law and legislation.
- IT Skills: Proficiency using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and HR systems.
- Communication Skills: A warm, approachable personality with a flexible communication style.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and correctly.
- Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude and the desire to join a friendly team.
In return, the successful HR Generalist can expect to receive a salary of £28,000 - £36,000, depending on experience/qualifications, working in the office 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
