HR Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in York. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in ensuring our people are at the heart of all our work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive and consultative HR support to facilitate the delivery of our people agenda, including organisational culture and colleague engagement, talent acquisition, reward and benefits, organisational change programmes and organisational performance.
  • Advise on employment law and best practice, coaching managers on day-to-day HR matters spanning the employee lifecycle, including complex employee relations issues, attendance management, talent acquisition and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Qualified to level 5 CIPD (minimum) and/or significant experience in a generalist HR role.
  • An understanding of the financial implications of people costs and how 'value' is created through staffing resource.
  • Demonstrable understanding of, and commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrable experience on TUPE and redundancy processes, an in-depth understanding of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) and its amendments.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 35hrs/week
