Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Learning Support Specialist to join our team at an exciting school in St Austell. As a Learning Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualised support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing behaviour plans and strategies to promote positive student outcomes
  • Providing one-to-one support and small group instruction to students with special needs
  • Collaborating with teachers to ensure seamless transitions and smooth learning experiences for students

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Degree in Education or related field (or equivalent qualification)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
