SEN Learning Support Assistant

Long-term Teachers Ltd is seeking an experienced and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join their close-knit team in St Austell. As a key member of the school's staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs.
This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who face barriers to learning. Our school supports learners with SEMH, autism, ADHD, and Asperger's, and we are committed to adapting our curriculum to suit their unique needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in managing the class, supervising group activities, and providing one-to-one support as needed. You will also be required to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment, ensuring that students feel comfortable and supported at all times.
We are looking for someone with experience working with children with special educational needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.
