Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to students in secondary schools, helping them to achieve academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Support: Assist teaching staff in developing and implementing effective lesson plans, ensuring alignment with the school's curriculum and goals.
  • Student Progress: Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform targeted support.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN or SEMH needs.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in education or a related field, preferably with experience working with SEN or SEMH students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
