Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineering Director to lead our design engineering delivery team in delivering complex infrastructure projects. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Lead Technical Manager to join our team as a Head of Design and Construction. You will be responsible for providing technical direction, leadership, and process governance throughout the project lifecycle. Your ultimate accountability will be the delivery of high-quality designs that meet safety codes, quality standards, and nuclear licence conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction, leadership, and process governance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure that our facilities and infrastructure meet the requirements to deliver current and future business operations
  • Work closely with Facility, Safety Case, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Authorities to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design specifications, engineering design substantiation, and C&I CAD drawings
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and experience in manufacturing processes, throughput modelling, conventional buildings, utilities, built environment, and coordination across multiple project interfaces
  • Familiarize yourself with applicable industrial legislation, standards, and regulations, including the CDM regulations
