Responsibilities:
Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust governance framework for the people function on behalf of the People Director and put controls in place to ensure effective adherence to the framework.
Programme Management: Define and maintain the People strategy programme, track and report on progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address issues.
Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within People & Places function, across the enterprise, and where appropriate with external parties. Ensure effective communication of complex information to a diverse audience, tailoring messages to their specific needs and proactively address concerns driving resolution and deconfliction in an engaging and influential way.
Reporting: Working in collaboration with the People Insights team, TA to Chief People & Places Officer (CPPO) and Finance and enterprise Portfolio Management stakeholders, produce timely and high-quality reports to meet People Director and CPPO requirements, intended for a range of audiences including board level.

The salary for this position is approximately £68,500 per annum, based on national averages and location costs.
