**Job Title:** Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant in a SEMH/SEN school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

**Location:** England, Greater London, Wandsworth

**Job Type:** Permanent, Term Time, Full-Time hours 8:30-15:30

**Industry and Salary:** Education and Training & £83.85 - £100 Per day

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting. You will assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, support students with social, emotional, and mental health issues (SEMH), and help manage challenging behaviour and provide a safe learning environment.

**Requirements:** Teaching Assistant Level 1 qualification, education background

**Preferred Qualifications and Experience:** Previous experience working with students with ASD and SEMH, first aid training, knowledge of safeguarding procedures, additional qualifications in SEN support and understanding autism, training in behaviour management techniques

**Working Conditions:** Work primarily in a classroom setting, may involve occasional outings or trips with students, collaborate with teaching staff and other support assistants, full-time hours with standard school term dates

Estimated salary for this role is around £28,000-£32,000 per year, depending on experience.
