About the Role
As a SEMH Support Worker, you will be working closely with students aged 5-16 who require additional support to navigate the curriculum and develop essential life skills. This may involve providing individualised support, leading group sessions, and collaborating with teachers to develop behaviour management strategies.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Providing emotional support and guidance to students with SEMH needs
* Developing and implementing individualised behaviour plans to meet student needs
* Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver lesson content and support student learning
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and adapting plans as needed

Due to the nature of the role, you will need strong behaviour management skills and experience working with challenging behaviours is desirable. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations, communicate effectively with students and staff, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
