We are looking for a highly motivated SEMH School Support Worker to join our team at Future Education. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a successful SEMH school located in the London Borough of Greenwich, providing support to a secondary-aged student with SEMH needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a PRU or similar educational setting, with a strong understanding of SEMH, ASD, and challenging behaviour. They will also have knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
As a SEMH School Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with the wider school team and external agencies to support students in achieving their full potential. The daily rate for this role is £90-£110 per day, depending on experience.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and the ideal candidate will share this commitment. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role, and the candidate must live in easy commuting distance to the London Borough of Greenwich.
