Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Castleton Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our teachers to provide support to pupils with complex needs, ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to pupils with complex needs, under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Engage and motivate learners through positive relationships and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to achieve high standards of attainment and behavior.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with experience working with pupils with complex needs.
  • Highly competent in writing and speaking English.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to high standards of attainment and behavior.
