Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating the educational and social growth of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Supporting educators in executing personalized education plans for students with SEN.
  • Delivering individualized assistance to learners with SEN to enhance their curriculum engagement.
  • Contributing to the creation of educational materials and resources customized for SEN students.
  • Working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to foster a nurturing learning atmosphere for SEN learners.
  • Tracking and documenting the progress of SEN students and providing feedback to educators.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
  • Experience with children or young individuals with SEN is required.
Educational Background:

Relevant educational credentials are necessary.

Experience Requirements:

Previous experience in a comparable role is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEN and its influence on learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a constructive attitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
Work Environment:

This position may require working in a classroom environment with children exhibiting various levels of SEN. The role is full-time and temporary in nature.
