Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating the educational and social growth of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Supporting educators in executing tailored educational plans for SEN students.
  • Delivering individualized assistance to learners with SEN to enhance their curriculum engagement.
  • Contributing to the creation of educational materials and resources customized for SEN students.
  • Working collaboratively with educators, guardians, and other specialists to foster a nurturing educational atmosphere for SEN learners.
  • Tracking and documenting the advancement of SEN students and providing feedback to educators.
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent credential.
  • Experience in working with children or young individuals with SEN.
Educational Background:

Relevant educational credentials are required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a comparable position is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehension of SEN and its effects on learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a constructive mindset.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or an equivalent.
Work Environment:

This role involves engaging with students in a classroom setting who have diverse levels of SEN. The position is full-time and temporary in nature.
