Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) during classroom activities
  • Supporting educators in executing personalized education plans for SEN students
  • Delivering individualized support to SEN students as required
  • Contributing to a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere
  • Working collaboratively with educators and other specialists to foster the overall growth of SEN students
Essential Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in supporting individuals with special educational needs
  • A current DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
Educational Background:

Minimum Requirement: GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous Experience: Experience in a comparable role within the educational field

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Comprehension of various learning requirements and methods to assist SEN students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Patience and compassion when engaging with SEN students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certification
  • Additional training in SEN assistance
Work Environment:

The position entails working in a school environment, adhering to school hours and academic calendars. Some adaptability may be necessary to meet the needs of SEN students.

All quoted pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advertisement is for a temporary role, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position in the future.
