Workshop Management Opportunity

Pembrook Resourcing, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Garage Operations Manager to join their client's aftersales department in the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge gained in the retail motor industry and have previous management experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for ensuring the workshop runs smoothly and efficiently, allocating work to technicians based on their skills and resolving customer queries according to dealership and manufacturers' guidelines.

We are looking for a strong communicator who can influence others to succeed and has the ability to take initiative and ownership of issues. The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, be able to multi-task and switch between tasks, and thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor staff and workshop performance to maintain standards.
  2. Calculate and manage the use of workshop resources effectively.
  3. Resolve customer queries according to dealership and manufacturers' guidelines.
  4. Allocate work to technicians based on their skills.
  5. Ensure that the customer reception and displays meet the manufacturer's quality objectives.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary, estimated to be around £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.
