Job Description

The postholder will work as part of the Therapies pathway team, providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments for individuals with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will have a doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuro-psychology. They will also be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and treatments for individuals with complex mental health needs

• Develop and implement treatment plans for individuals with complex mental health needs

• Supervise junior staff members to ensure they are receiving the necessary support and training

• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patient care is coordinated and effective

Person Specification

To be considered for this role, you must have a doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuro-psychology. You must also be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) or equivalent.

Salary

The salary range for this role is £62,069 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
